Tommy Watson ( ...off to Brighton)

yeah we should’ve just let Rigg and Jobe get down to 18 months as well, that would’ve been smart business.
Rigg could only sign on for so long due to his age couldn't he? Could Watson have been the same? I'm not sure so I'm just asking. He's a Sunderland fan if he want's to play for us then he will sign and play for us. I want him to stay and I think he will. ATM he is back up sub to bring on for Mundle here. He won't get 1st team chances at the other clubs ahead of us

Who says he wants to leave?

Why would he?

Is this just made up stuff, again!

As I sad earlier, you are clearly intellectually challenged

Dear me
As hard as it is to take, our players will leave for premier league football and wages whilst we are in the championship. Shite but true

They can get fucked for 2m!

Tell him he’s staying until summer at least. He’s under contract and worth helping us get up.

As I said, earlier in the thread, they have offered £4m.
I'd still say that is derisory. His age, his development with SAFC, being a local lad and his performances once he broke into the team, should command 3x that amount.

Even if they did offer circa £10m, I'd not want to see him sold, unless that's what he wants. His potential with us, is enormous!

For a young Horden lad, who came through our academy, tore it up in the u21s, before finally getting his opportunity when Clarke left and Mundle got injured, it would a massive disappointment if he wanted away like. And I have to say, an unlikely thing to happen.
This. Can only assume it’s his wanker agent in his ear

Brighton just rejected a £95m bid for a player who plays in his position, don't think he'll be getting in ahead of him anytime soon.

I’d assume with offer being so low that a large sell on would have been in the deal.
Tommy needs games and in the championship
If he went to Brighton he’d have a nightmare getting time on the pitch, but his salary would be huge compared to current one.

£2m doesn't even buy his shoelace. He's young, he's English and he's made a very good start to his senior career this season. The benchmark fee for a player like this is significantly higher.
