This is the worst thing about all this. I can live with Liverpool, Man United and Arsenal picking off our talents for good money but it’s really hard to stomach losing young talent to Brighton. It really shouldn’t happen

In my opinion, Watson will be by far the better player of the two. His touch, composure and quality on the ball even at this age looks a step above Mundle (who has other attributes). It’ll be a crying shame if a local lad is sold before he’s even had the opportunity to make his mark at all here

I can't imagine Brighton paying big money for him when he's had so little first team exposure.
If he wants to leave and won't sign a new contract, then sell him in the summer to the highest bidder. That way we'll get the benefit of him playing for the last few months of the season, and most likely increasing his value in the meantime.
