Tommy Watson ( ...off to Brighton)

its way too early to start on the drink...
We have clearly been a better side without Clarke (Watson and Mundle are both very good) and Ross Stewart has played about as many minutes for Southampton as Ali Dia did. So how was he wrong?

He wants to play and feels he’s good enough but not getting the game time

id imagine if a big enough offer comes in for Neil we might be tempted

I can't remember anyone starting as much as he had up until his injury in their first proper season as a first teamer. He got his chance quite early and took it. Even Rigg had to wait until around March last season to actually establish himself.

Strange bloke you mind.

Stewart has managed a grand total of 141 mins this season and 81 in the whole of last season. Aye he would have made a massive difference.
why the edit? did you have to google that last part... strange bloke 🤷‍♂️ 🤦‍♂️

They’ve been interested for a few windows reportedly. Wouldn’t be surprised to see it happen unless he’s offered / signs a new contract

Dont think he will go, massive talent and sunderland is the best route for young players coming through and play regular. I dont think he will go there to sit on the bench and play u21 regular all over again. He is just too good for that level, man.

If the offer is good then let’s cash in, it’s what the club are about any way especially with more young talent coming through
Why’s everyone so keen to cash in on cracking young footballers who have a real link to our club. Surely these are the ones we want to hang onto the most
