Tommy Watson ( ...off to Brighton)

Selling Watson and Neil while the club is supposedly going for promotion would go down like a lead balloon, as pointed out by @Mowgli Cirkin only got 18 month left as well, presumably you'd advocate selling him as well? Just sell the lot of them eh, great stuff.
I haven’t advocated anything have I? I’ve said the clubs stance would be if big offers come in for anyone in their last 18 months the club would consider it

I think the the difference with Neil and Cirkin if we are looking at this season is they are the best players in their positions, Watson isn't.

I wouldn’t pay much attention to the people around tommy Watson appearing on this thread saying they have the inside track, they are full of shite and we’re trying to spout that he was fit to come back the start of the year.

Brighton are determined to get him. Don't blame them in many ways as he has a great future. We might only be a few weeks from fitness so medical should be ok. Need to get a big fee and I mean Jack Clarke size.
I think the fee needs to be much larger personally.
I think the reason the Clark fee was so low, was that he had been to so many clubs and failed. We were one of only two clubs that he played well for.

Watson is younger, and has only been successful. He played well against one of the best teams in this league too as he was one of the better played against shef United in the first match.

Plus his contract has longer left to run on it.

No doubt that weasel Harte will be in his ear whispering sweet nothings again, but hoped Jack Clarke experience this season will be enough to reassure Watson that his career is best served in a Sunderland shirt

They're only established because they have prem money. They have no history, average to poor support.
Yeah but you're talking about a player and agent making a choice, pure and simple, and both player and agent are invariably bothered about £££... nowt else
