Surely he looks at Clarke and thinks fuck sitting in the bench or not even making the squad over playing a lot for his boyhood heroes to get them promoted ?!
 

I will say mind there is a big difference moving to ipswich vs brighton. Brighton are well known for taking young talent and developing them further.

If you are someone like Watsons age it’s probably one of the best clubs you’d want to come in for you. Real good chance he’d get minutes before too long there

90% of people on here thought we should have got more for Clarke at the time. Not sure anymore forseen how bad he would do at Ipswich. I always suspected he would struggle at Pl level but never to this extent.

Brighton are now established premier league club and have a history of doing exactly what we are attempting to do. For the money that it might be it's a no brainer for them . f***ing Brighton man, never thought I'd see the day where Brighton can potentially buy our players, Brighton 🤣
