Adil Aouchiche

Standard RLB stubbornness. Decided he didn’t like him from the start and despite his efforts and good performances during the injuries he got immediately dropped to play Le Feè (out of position). He’s a decent player who can contribute but RLB has his favourites and that’s that.
Playing on the left recently he saw a lot of the ball and did some good things, but obviously stop-gap. That's not his best position, he's a more central player but I don't think he's better than those we already have playing there. And when Mundle and Watson return there won't be a place for him.

If its a loan with a permanent transfer built in then that would be goodbye to Adil. I think their supporters will like him as he has ability to spray a few passes around and can look a quality player. Not bothered myself but some people on Twitter are frothing at the mouth. He did ok but in my opinion is not even on the bench when Mundle and Watson are back.

I quite like him, reminds me a bit of a championship level Malbranque, easy on the eye and quite skillful but not particularly quick or defensively switched on, probably a #10 but never going to play there unless we are decimated, hopefully he does well at Pompey he should shine in their side tbh.

He does have good qualities and there's a chance he finds his feet getting a regular game and a team that plays to his strengths, and actually does kick on. Only a chance but he needs that chance IMO for his own sake. I'd have been very happy to keep him for the bench but it's to be commended that he wants more.

I think this is a good move all round and if he starts pulling up trees on loan we can benefit in future (and in the meantime he might well strengthen Pompey if playing any of our rivals).
