He really is. Pattersons distribution isn't great but it's better than Moores. His distribution in his last game cost us a penalty.

Patterson is also being asked to hit the full back on the touchline. Any sort of over hit and its out of play, it's hardly a surprise a decent amount go out of play.

Is Patterson the finished product? Absolutely not. But he's the best keeper at the club.
