Really good shot stopper but the rest of his game is miles off Premier League level. If we do get promoted this season he's one of the first players who will need upgrading on.

His inability to come for ball all season is infuriating
He came out well and punched away a cross into our box around 8-9 yards out in the first half. As you’d expect and want your keeper to do. Thought, “there ya go lad, bit more of that”. Glued to his line for remainder of game for numerous similar balls in I’d want him to collect or get a fist to clear. Including their second. Frustrating

He hasn’t got an angry bone in his body. Attackers know he isn’t coming and our defenders stench to half head things cos they know he isn’t coming for anything.

It’s a mentality thing, and all the coaching in the world isn’t going to put the devil in him.

This is a massive problem as a keeper.
He needs to be a loud mouthed shithouse in the box, so any forward knows if they go for a a ball with him they’re getting clattered.
He’s got to dominate his box more imo

I like the fella and think he’s a half decent keeper for this level. If we don’t go up this season then one of two things needs to happen though for next year: He needs to spend the summer with a decent GK coach working hard to work on his distribution and command of the box. Or we need to sign someone better if we want to compete for an automatic promotion place.
None of our players are good enough to play PL to be fair. Rigg and Jobe will be one day and a couple of the younger ones might have a chance, but most will never hold down a place in a PL team.
