I’d take a loan from the PL, providing it was someone with a bit experience who just wasn’t getting any game time or whatever.
No more Burstows.
I think Barry from Villa who can play across front three would suit what we need down to ground

I think this could be our best option.
As it stands Isidor is understandably first choice with Mayenda providing another option. Any striker we brought in now unless we spend really big money would be playing at least a supporting role to Isidor.
If we could find the striking equivalent of Mepham that would be ideal ! He was initially back up while Alese and O’Nien started so well but then takes his chance and proves his worth ten fold.
What we can’t afford to do imo is not bring in another forward before the window shuts.
Isidor is an exciting, explosive player but just imagine he tears his hamstring at the weekend in a similar way that Mundle did. Would the club be happy to go the next eight to ten weeks with just Mayenda as a striking option?

With most teams only playing one up front, striker has started to become almost like goalkeeper - you can only keep one happy and once you have a first choice anyone else is just a permanent sub.
Look at how impossible Spurs found it to buy a decent backup for Kane despite having plenty to spend - anyone capable of doing the job wasn't prepared to move because they knew they would only be a backup - and it also becomes a hell of a lot of money to spend on someone who you know isn't going to be in the team.
