Durham are going the same way as SAFC, introducing an app where all your ticket purchases will be stored, surely they can’t be considering the overwhelming demographic of Durham members?

The forums will be unavailable for a few hours on Saturday 6th June, when they do return they will initially be in a degraded state with some features missing, but normal posting/reading will be possible. The main website will not be affected by these updates.

I think i got a confirmation email saying that last years membership cards will be updated and can be used for 2025. Can’t see many people put it on their phone

Well I’ve just downloaded the app and logged in, and it tells me there are no tickets to show, so dear knows where my season card is?

I’ve got the same e mail. Had to read it twice but my interpretation is that the app is for individual tickets eg someone buying a one off for a T20. Lancashire have an app like this which I used for the Ashes test and at Blackpool for the CC game. They just sent e-tickets for the one day cup at Sedbrrgh.
It worked extremely well. Unlike SAFC, they had stewards with hand held scanners at the gate (like they currently do with the plastic cards).

Typical Durham ICT. The android app link doesn't work. Searched in the store and it's there though.

thats how i first used to go as a kid, they were like numbered raffle tickets you could tear out
My first membership was like that, now it’s just a card, at our club they keep it behind the bar and anyone who wants to take it for a particular game asks the club chairman and they get the physical card for however long they need it. It’s simple.
Problem would be if they insist on an electronic/digital version, given DCCC’s recent history regarding distribution of tickets I’m not confident that this would work well at all

The Yorkshire app was pretty seamless when I transferred some ODI tkts but recipient has to also have an account and app to receive them. I’m a grey hair and have no probs either, I was thinking more of the ones who don’t have a member/customer number, they’ll have to sign up.Most of the people who use the membership are young’uns like, so I’m sure it’ll be a piece of piss for them to navigate

I think showing your Walsall ticket grants you immediate access to the members pavilion.
The Ajax 1997 ticket stub also gains you access.

New members requesting a digital card – New members who requested a digital card can now log on to their account and download their card onto their mobile devices. Instructions have been sent direct to members but if you are having any difficulties please contact the Box Office.
