Lads legends in their whites

Had this pop up on my social media this morning.

Respect to the first person that names all 6.

Extra qudos to anyone that can some provide context. I know it was taken at Shotley Bridge in 1976.

Front row is Pop Robson, Stan Ternent (junior coach at time), Bob Stokoe.
Back right is Bob Moncur.
Middle, I have't a clue.
Back right is a midfield player, at that time whose name escapes me !!
Got it, Dennis Longhorn !

That’s a great spot with Ternent, on the actual post it states that it’s Bob Lee, it’s clearly Ternent though when you look properly.
Looks like the other Tom Finney.
Spot on 👍

That's the one my dad couldn't get, but once I informed him via your post it twigged!

There was a twitter post lastnight about it, i forgot to post it on here

So you just thought you’d come on and spam the board again anyway? Given that there’s already a thread about it, quite clearly from November.

Seriously, WTF is going on with this place these days?

Are certain people on commission or being encouraged to bump historic threads for no reason @RTGAdmin? Cause if they are, I’m sure loads of us would be happy to help the forum by doing the same. Just so we know like 🤷‍♂️

Not surprised by Turbo up to his tricks again, It's definitely attention seeking and he never puts on anything original and hot off the press 🙄 I would even gamble and suggest that they're not involved with cricket, either playing or volunteering etc . He seems to be in association with the Brighton 64 gang and has traits of the spy in Stalag 17. His attempts to be part of the In Crowd has seriously backfired. Unfortunately in this case the accused is Not an innocent man/woman

NEVER offers up an original opinion on any cricket topic either, 90% of his posts are links to other sites/socials accounts. Essentially it’s just an aggregator. Which I’ve never been fond of because it’ll be the death of independent writers/journalism.

Is that all this is?

It’s literally the strangest thing I’ve ever come across on any forum, I’ll no doubt get a ban again just for mentioning it, but various posters over the last year or so have asked for clarity on what on earth is going on with it and the mods just clam up. It’s like fight club, to speak of it is absolutely verboten. Several good posters have been banned just for bringing it up and I know various long serving contributors who’ve since withdrawn their contribution over it.

Any chance mods?

Worse still, I've just been on the Pure Football site to catch up on Hartlepool Utd and lo and behold he/she is there mentioning that Pools are away to Wealdstone 🙏

Pop Robson left bottom row, Bobby Stokoe at the other end.. buggered if i know the others  . Did remember a wonderful chat between Reidy and Sir Bobby during a lunch break on Channel 4 they both loved their cricket, Bobby said it was is hobby (rhymed  ) and he was passionately saying you know if you've taken a clean catch.

During his playing career Sir Bobby would in the close season play cricket for his home village team , Years later in the 80's and 90's I had 2 spells there and used the same dressing room peg , Also used by Blyth Spartans legend Brian Slane when he was player/ manager for the local Sunday morning football team who won the All England Cup in 77

Bobby was a top man, I love footy but Cricket is my sport as it's played in the right spirit, that's why I dislike the likes of Kohli who inject a sense of ⚽ tribalism

There are several posts in this thread that have nothing to do with cricket so why aren't you moaning about them as well?
