Durham CCC

Does anyone get on here who works for Durham CCC, step daughter is applying for a physio role there and I just wanted to give her some advice on what to expect if she gets to interview stage. Shes fully qualified but only has a couple of years experience so any help that anyone can offer her would be great.

If she gets the job then me and @The Red Telephone are first in line for complimentary away tickets due to services to the County Durham Upper and Trapdoor Stand. In all seriousness though I'd recommend IF shortlisted to request a meeting in advance with the club contact on the application form or even contact them in advance for a chat to get a feeling for the role & to ask any questions. Obviously the role is going to be busier due to the start up for the women's team but I'd imagine it's very rewarding and in recent times it's very much a happy together camp. Good luck

It would enhance cricket web if that person chose to join

It’s clear they have a great deal of time taken up by following cricket in all areas of the world

Theyve certainly educated me in what’s going on in the cricket world these days

Well I would certainly be interested in this poster's views on the political interference relating to playing Afghanistan. Especially as this poster appears to be female and the Taliban won't allow womens cricket there.

An actual opinion instead of the usual cop and paste job

Hopefully we are not on ignore so they will respond

It’s a subject that may cause problems going forward in the Champions Trophy and to get a view from a keen and knowledgable female poster will enhance the debate

Care to explain your reasons mate . There is some halfwits but I tend to ignore them . You might place me in that category 🤔 It's better for some to monopolise it rather than no dialogue at all , Even those who literally copy posts

I was around when this area was set up in 2006 and it was a completely different place
