Enzo Le Fee 🇨🇵 Signed!

I mean, that's exactly what you said.
It isn't though, I'm saying that we'd only spend 50m on an absolute elite level youth talent. Wouldn't have to be from Arsenal, nor even the Premier League but it would have to be the cream of the crop teenager who is still only going to improve massively and is available for god knows what reason, club going bust, getting relegated, PSR issues or whatever.

Ok, even taking taking the specific player out it is total lunacy to suggest we'd be willing to spend £50M on a single player. We're absolutely nowhere near spending that in total under KLD.

Theres not a cat in hells chance we would ever spend 50M on a player if we went up

We absolutely would, if for some reason a player like that became available to us (and we were in the PL). At this stage though anyone like that would laugh in our face, so it's a moot point.

Everything indicates we would as we improve the squad bring in more money the level of signing has consistently gone up

Don't see us ever spending £50m on a single player even if established in the prem. That would be a record transfer for nearly every Premier League club outside of the top 6/7. Brighton are our closest analogue in that league and even their record spend is about 10m lower...

Well no, as the hypothetical scenario where some elite level talent for some reason wants or is willing to join a newly promoted team isn't going to happen.

I think any club with the means to spend £50 million on a player with a guarantee of big profit as Andy said, would. But there are zero guarantees in football so we would never in my life time do this.

If we get him in and get Samed fit I reckon we win the World Cup this season
West Ham are having a stinker so there’s definitely a chance for someone to step in and fill in for them.

Think you have made a statement that’s so far off the mark and double downed on it and going round in circles.

Risk is relative. We've spent 3 million on a kid who isn't starting in the Championship and seem pretty relaxed about it. Last year we spent roughly the same on Birmingham's 3rd best youth prospect. That’s big stakes at this level.

IF we get to the PL we aren't suddenly going to decide we can finally afford Kieffer Moore.

Don’t know what the deal was.

Someone said on social media that zenit are paying isidors wages. Is that right?

I did see that mentioned but I also seem to recall a quote from someone from the Zenit board saying that we are paying towards his wages iirc.

I think it's plausible we are contributing to his wage but we are making on that its completely free to not raise any questions .
