I don’t see anything different in what you say about most keepers in this division.
He’s a very good keeper at this level and he’s homegrown.
Stars bare that out if you can’t see it
We should be pleased.
Yeah don't get me wrong I am very pleased and if we decide not to loan Young out again next season and have him pushing Patto for the No.1 spot then it could push them both on to new levels.

I do think that most of the current 'hate' against him is stemming from the weekend because we came up against a keeper who is better than him in Viktor Johansson and people don't like our keeper getting outclassed at this level.

That lad at Stoke best keeper I’ve seen in this division this season
Had a good game, few bad kicks, but the rest of his game was w excellent

He is second in motm poll, so says it all

Quite easily for me. It's just a natural reaction for a lot of our fans to see someone better and instantly label Patto as shite because he's not as good currently.

I said this at the weekend and I'll say it now.

Patto is a top 6 championship level keeper.
Johansson is the best in the league.

Nothing to be ashamed of with Patto at all.

Cooper is the best in the league, a genuine Premier League keeper in waiting and how Sheff Utd picked him up for what they did I don’t know.

Johansson is very much second. And Patto is arguably third.

In all fairness I know very little about the Sheff Utd keeper tonight. He didn't really stand out during the 90 as being an exceptional keeper but barring the two goals that he couldn't really do much about, we didn't really teat him except when Mayenda shot straight at him from 15 yards out.

Has he been that good all season or has it usually just been a case of having a good defence in front of him for the most part?

He was very highly rated at Plymouth before the injury and rightly so.

He has got a good defence in front of him now granted but I’d wager a lot of the good defensive record is down to him.

And Ahmedhodzic who I also really rate

Fair play to him for the penalty save. Thought he was good tonight however that dummy he tried in the first half was crazy. Couldn’t believe what I was seeing when he tried that

I’ve always been impressed with the Blackburn Goalie. Pears I think.

Always has a good game against us.
