English is taught more in Europe than French or Spanish are here. That’s kind of my point, that because few English people have second languages, we can forget others can speak it well. It’d be no surprise is a teenage Serb can speak English very well
 

Aye, the people who are defending the lack of minutes seem to have made up the fact that he can't speak English as a reason for it. Weird.
He has limited English. This was shown when he joined the other new signings for a talk in earlier in the season.

Since then he'll have improved but he won't be anywhere near fluent or be comfortable doing interviews.

Everything depends on the region in that country though.

For example, a person living in Bilbao, Madrid and Barcelona will have a much higher level than a person in Andalusia for example. They're not as invested in the language most likely due to financial reasons.
