61 Substitutions Made This Season

Which is by far the lowest made by managers who have a comparable amount of games under their belt this season.

It's actually lower than some managers who have already been and gone (e.g. Walters, Harris and a few others).

Wilder for example has made 108 subs, Corberan 104, Farke 97, Parker 86.

I know the argument will be that we are higher in the league than most other teams so we're doing something right, but are we leaving points behind due to a lack of changes?

Your point is?! We don’t have the strength in depth to make them and it’s costing us. The lottery of the play offs is where we’re heading we could very easily have been top 2. It’s very frustrating but we’ll fight on.

How long is Rigg out for? We’re running out of players.

Corporate "Business model" wtf wouldn't you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! rotate players? You can make 5 subs during a match and I don't think it's RLB's strategy. To NOT make subs.

There'd have been even less subs if it wasn't for our kids getting kicked to bits and coming off injured

Id argue that our inability to retain possession makes us far more positionally vulnerable to tired legs and, just as an example, closing down crosses in the late stages of games. Tired legs also pick up injuries more. Fresh legs with a purpose will never be worse than more skilled knackered legs when defending for me. If we could actually keep the ball, then tired legs don't hurt as much

Thought we were finishing 12th to 16 th ?

I wonder how many subs we've made before 70 minutes that wasn't an forced sub? Can't be many. I can imagine there's a few miserable squad players in our team knowing they have no chance of getting on the pitch. Aouchiche had some impressive sub appearances and if not for Rigg getting injured I doubt he'd have got on.

Wtf are you on about ya radge? Lay off the gear and drink marra or else you'll be deed in the new year.

It's not just about showing how thin the squad is etc. Sometimes you don't need them to have an impact or change the game, but simply add running and tracking back from out wide to make you more solid.

A player running on empty is useless being asked to run up and down the field. Better off getting fresh legs who might actually close down a cross.
Bench is too weak
We've been 3-0 up at home and he still won't give players a rest. He'll continue to play and play till the end.

Hes done a great job so far but it's a bit bizarre like.

It’s really bizarre. I wish a journalist would ask him the question.
They have, not that long ago. He said something along the lines of "We have a lot of talented young players that aren't fully ready for the Championship". Journo didn't really press him any further on it.
