Boro thread

Watched Boro a few times this season and they are 4th- 8th side to be fair. Only actual individual player I would have an opinion on is Ayling , bang average defender, not sure if he is a regular first teamed or starts when they have injuries. But they will struggle to make the play offs if he keeps starting games.

The season before, we were both in the play offs?

Does that matter or not coz I've seen quite a few burra saying we'll both be in the play offs this season, so it doesn't matter.

And last season, we sacked TM! And we're still more in disbelief about that that Burra fans, weren't we in or around the play offs at the time. And that's really why Beale didn't get a chance, Mowbray loved it here.

Sunderland are doing very well having spent the 13th most of clubs in the Championship
Boro are 5th highest -not surprisingly behind Burnley Leeds ..Hull and Norwich.

long long way to go but spend v value of squad /assets -we are probably both doing ok

Pretty sure the only player we spent money on on the summer, has played around 10 minutes for our 1st team this season.

Don’t think Hull will have spent anything considering the cash they brought in from sales
 
If after 30 minutes I would have said I will be disappointed if we don't win this I would have been sectioned.

Quite an incredible game. Boro took us to the cleaners first half but we came out like Liverpool for the second and that first 20 minutes of the second half we were simply unplayable.

Harsh sending off for Boro and their fans stuck with them even when we equalised.

I buggered off upstairs at half time...bloody phone dinging away downstairs and me thinking God theyve got 8
Couldn't believe it Boro imploded in 20 minutes
