Forthcoming gigs.

He was absolutely amazing wasn't he. Up there with the most memorable gigs I've seen. Impressed with the venue as well, the less said about the shambolic organisation at the entrance the better though.
Went Sunday night got there probably about 6.15, only took 5 to 10 mins to get in, seemed quite organised tbh, maybe they learned lessons from the previous night, what a gig mind, up there in me all time top 10

Didn’t get home till 3am, and off to Lochlomand in the next hour… but in short 100% the same experience. Think it was 10mins from getting off the tram to getting into the arena just before 6, think the doors were open an hour earlier & wondered if they’re were more organised because the Manchester derby was on?

Co-op live is a top venue (another nail in the coffin of that tin shed on tyneside), gig was out of this world made more special that I was able to share the experience with the bairn.

Shout out to @Fred Army for the tip off on the availability of tickets this week, made for a very special day for us yesterday!

Went to see the Script do a short stripped back gig in Sheffield last night, luckily coincided with Reverend and the Makers doing a set in the pop up shop in Meadowhall and then The Lottery winners doing a quick 5 songs as well.

It was a great night. Probably my last gig of the year.
I haven't been on for a while, but I really enjoyed this gig. Selma and her mate with the weird sounding korg thing were enchanting. And euros was brilliant, that 20 minute song was fantastic. Oh, it was me and my mates fault why the electric and lights went out for a bit. We were standing at back next to sound man, and we asked him what instrument a band member was using ( it was a synth clarinet),He turned around to tell us ,and knocked a plug out. Soz!

I loved it. The no lights episode just added to the occasion. I haven't heard a lot of his solo stuff but afterwards I had to find out what the 20 minute song was. It's called Kitty Dear Part 1. Here it is filmed on an earlier date.

I saw it. Was a bit pissed off by it, in a petty way, so didn’t post anything back, but thought it was a bit shit. Been there twice lately, on a minibus, with 10+ people from Sunderland both times. It’s a cracking little venue, despite the NUFC mural on the wall outside, but I get that, it’s in Newcastle.

Anyhow, moving on, just bought six tickets for Brògeal at Three Tanners Bank in North Shields as part of Independent Venue week. Oh hang on, what’s the Grove?!

Just gave my 8yr old daughter her Mary Wallopers & Bootleg Blondie tickets. As well as going to Blackburn tomorrow she’s not doing too bad in following in her dads footsteps of being cool as fuck.

I’ll not be able to do owt by myself soon.

Lottery Winners, The Lilacs and Tom A Smith made for a fantastic time in Manchester last night. Onward to Wigan for The Lathums this afternoon when I can eventually get a bastard train.
