Jack Clarke

I hate to say it I think Sunderland picked up the UBER cost to Ipswich given we had talent behind him.

I think you're being a bit silly in saying that. He assisted Ipswich's winning goal today.

I'm constantly being told that our new signings need time to bed in and get used to their surroundings. Maybe that's just what's happening with Clarke at Ipswich?

He took a corner 😂 yep he’s settled now like

Jack was a class act for us and good luck to him I say.
I lived in Ipswich for a short time back when Daryl Murphy played with them and have a soft spot for the Tractor Boys. Would love to see them stay up but it's unlikely in all fairness.

This thread is obsessed with a lad who outgrew us.

Good luck to him…if he ever came back he’d instantly be our best player
I’m not sure he would. He’d be our best fit attacking player but I think there’s an argument that Jobe, Mepham or Cirkin would be our best players. He’d still be very welcome though!

Blows my mind that people have deemed him not good enough for the PL after being thrown into a side nailed on to go down and completely change his game and what he’s good at. You could see a mile off going to a team like Ipswich was bad for his career and plenty called it.
He was out of his depth against the Mags last year too

As he proved with us during his time here, he is without question, a player who would always shine and be one of the best in the Championship.

The jury is still out on whether he has what it takes to earn and maintain a place in any team in the Premier League.

Personally I really hope he does, because his work ethic here proved that he is not lazy, and wants to get on, and he was really good for us.

Only time will tell, but he will and should always be welcome here, either as an opposition player, or returning as a player for us at some point in the future.

Not many ex players here get, or deserve that respect, but he earned that.

Not sure why you would say that - realistically they only need to finish above Leicester and Wolves - which looks doable

Also a possibility either Palace or Everton could fall into the mire
Palace looked decent today , everton always do enough, wolves appoint decent manager and that squad will be fine. Ipswich don’t have a good enough squad

They might well go down, but I’m really surprised you’d say they have no chance of staying up

Even your caveats for each club there, wolves is dependent on who their new coach is
