Craft Beer

Me too. But from Axis. Fowa bottles. 25 quid a pop

Nice
Ordered a couple. Would have bought more but already ordered the 12 Xmas box, and orders in at Trembling Madness and Hops at Home this week. Well stocked is an understatement.

Still need some Impy Jakehead 24 as well.
I had it last time they did it. Wouldn’t say no to it if I saw it available, but I preferred the normal gear when I tried it

I like your taste in adjuncts. Whilst the ABV might be a bit low for me in some of them, the only one that wouldn't interest me is the orange one.

Funnily enough I bought that one as a gift for someone else. xD

Brother In Law - long-running family gag is that he always gets bought a Terry's Chocolate Orange for Christmas. I saw that stout and thought "YES!"

Next time get some Kernel stouts and porters. Great beers and great value, largely adjunct free but roasty and all the right underlying notes a stout should have, IMHO anyway.

I'll watch out for them!

Pleased to see Keel Tavern still have a great variety. Peacock fairly disappointing, particularly keg (usual mainstream stuff in the main). Cask choice alright, enjoyed the Santa's Soot Christmas ale. Duncow had a couple of very tasty stouts on.

Ordered some of the Sierra Nevada Porter unfortunately none of there Stout was available . Wish i'd ordered a few bottles of Narwhal as well.

I generally find the Peacock selection disappointing. Keg is, as you said, mainstream. Cask is usually a couple of Maxim and mebbes a bog standard pale, golden Ale, bitter. Often have an AF Guinness in there and save myself for summat better elsewhere.

Double Maxim on cask for me when I’m in. If Santa’a Soot is on I’ll have that tomorrow like. If I get there.

I’ve done a couple of Vaux cans in the Peacock, but the mark up was canny hefty so stopped now.

I'd try the Santas Soot, but given my limitations these days I try and fit the odd AF in and as I said, the Peacock, much as I like it, generally is one of them.

I can see your logic there. Shame as I think the Peacock is good but could be much better.
you can obviously order online, but I bought my last few from Rehills in Jesmond. The Export Brown
Donzokos new nitro dark launching today around the land. In Ouseburn this afternoon for a few so will dive into their taproom
