As much as over rate is an issue. The game finished in under 4 days and it’s not a punishment.

In game penalties is the only way it’s going to change.
 
The over rate thing annoys me. Literally nobody is complaining about missing out on overs when England are playing like they do - it's not like they're deliberately slowing play down to avoid losing.

Just another fix to ensure India get to the final as far as I can see.

Nah over rate has been an issue for a while with us. We don't even manage it even with spinners from both ends. It's a a tactic from both sides to slow the game down. It's not positive cricket at all and flies in the face of how stokes want to play the game.

India normally fly through their overs because they create a shit ton of pressure at home. Jadeja is lightning at his overs.

The issue is it's not a punishment as our captain hasn't even bothered to understand the rules of the competition. Plus a fine when they are already well off is irrelevant.

WTC everyone needs to play the same amount of games that count towards it and ICC/big three need to sort funding model out and not be greedy. To allow every team to play more test cricket.

Over rate in game punishments would be better.
