1st TEST :: New Zealand v England

I've just finished watching sessions 2 and 3.

Love TNT just catch up on my tablet and skip between every ball and end of over. Get 4+ hours watched in no time.

Think a few comments in the last page or 2 have just viewed the scorecard like.

We rode our luck massively, we played very much Bazball the whole innings. Edge of your seat stuff plenty of near misses and a boat load of dropped catches by New Zealand.

I think Root was harshly made to come out and bat so I guess that's karma!!!

Brook 120+ for 4
Stokes 37 for 1
Never seen New Zealand drop so many catches in a day.
Great opportunity for England to put a decent lead on tomorrow

Thats so true. I have just looked at the scorecard and thought England must have batted superbly. Especially after the way the Kiwis bowled in the first session.

Phillips took a worldie to dismiss Pope. But dropped Brook with a dolly when he was on 12, he had a few other lives that should have been taken too had more on the board by most of them.

Stokes should have been taken late in the day too.

Not to say Brook/Pope didn't bat well in between the drops. But they hit a lot of balls in the air in the innings that fizzed past fielders at various places.

Brook was dropped on 18,41,70 and 112 for peoples information. Thought the one on 70 was Pope as TNT was on advert break

Every single chance for Brook was one you'd expect the fielder/keeper to take.

He has ended up though the second fastest to 2000 runs for an Englishman. Sutcliffe 33 innings and Brook 36.

Also currently only Bradman has a better away average than Brook(93.00) and Bradman was 102.84.

Despite me being somewhat critically he played well in between the drops

Great position we where very fortunate if they take that dolly of Brook in the gully when he was only 18.

Phillips dropped that then took that outrageous catch off Pope.

Thats remarkable...which County are they from?
:) ;)
Just watched the highlights. Genuinely don’t think I’ve seen a luckier innings from Brook. Dropped about 5 times, inside edges passed the stumps the lot.
I was listening half asleep...."Brook gone, Brook gone, Brook gone....."
Woke at half 5 ish, heard his name and thought we were following on!!

Why does it take TNT about 10 hours to upload the highlights.
Watched half hour highlights 4 minutes after the first session today at midnight.. Watched full day highlights 7 minutes after close of play.

Blimey you still have a television and wait for live TV i take it. Blimey people who watch live TV and look at tv guides still exist... Blimey.

Seriously what do you gain from constantly just belittling people?

I've yet to see you post that doesn't involve being snide or abusing people.

Your preaching to the wrong crowd with plenty of your views. This forum massively loves County Cricket and Durham, you've constantly professed your dislike for both of them.

How about re-evaluate yourself before seeking to bring your unneeded negativity towards others.

Is the rule not that they come off only if the wicket falls after the time of the designated break?
Or within three minutes of time (it was two minutes until the 2017 revision). What is certainly not true is that they “never” stay on the field if a wicket falls during the over in the run-up to lunch. They’re supposed to stay on if there’s more than three minutes left. They come off if there isn’t. Law 12.5 if you’re interested.

He’s exactly the same on Pure Football as well, makes you wonder what he gets out of it 🤷‍♂️
