Jesus. The other half asked me to get tickets for us to go and see Mary Poppins. The cheapest non Gallery tickets look to be £52 each, and they're not that great. £260 for the 5 of us, before anything to eat/drink. f***ing hell man.

West end prices now
The days of empire being a cheap provincial theatre are gone
If you want the best shows you have to pay for it
I'm sure there's a catch, but managed to spot what seems to be a mis-priced seat in the upper circle, with 2 reasonably priced ones alongside. So £48/48/15 (decided not to take the twins as they're a bit young) - photos show no posts or anything in the way, so hopefully I've nabbed a bargain.

I thought it was time are magnificent theatre deserved its own thread.

I went to see it a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it apart from paying £38 for a bottle of Prosecco

I used to be embarrassed inviting people from work to come to the bairns shows as the tickets are £20 each but all the lasses at work love supporting the dance school (they also make a night of it and go for a meal before hand) and think the price is nowt when you think what you pay you pay for the major shows at the empire.

Aye it's not cheap.

I was looking at Tickets for Hamilton and I'm not sure I can justify the price as I already have a number of other shows lined up.

Maybe after the expense of Christmas is done.

Came back on after 15 minutes
No idea what happened, no announcement or anything
Great show couldn't done without a couple of the songs tbh

Anyone joined ATG membership and is it worth it?
I used to be a member for several years and it means you don’t have to pay booking fees. Occasionally yiu also get member offers for certain shows.

I jacked it in a couple of years ago when they significantly increased the cost of membership and because I don’t go to the theatre that often, it really wasn’t worth the cost for me.

£50 a few shows we may go to during 1st half but nothing after that so don't think we'll bother
