Not a bad half for me. We've had them penned in most of it, had 9 shots to their 1, 6 corners to their 0 which gives you an idea of the balance of play. We haven't created enough clear cut chances, hopefully that will come, don't see why it wouldn't.

Step it up another 10% and we should have the 3 points we deserve.

We miss him whenever he isn’t playing. And Hume, Rigg and Roberts combine well as a trio with ball at feet down the right.

O’Nien has done an admirable job but hasn’t linked as well with Rigg and Roberts.

I’d have played Hume RB, to keep that trio together. O’Nien would be fine at LB

For two midfielders, except from a few good touches, Jobe and Rigg have been anonymous. I fear Watson is a Roberts Mark 2, both always cutting inside, trying ridiculous shots, and little end product. Jobe and Rigg getting more involved will mean Isidor gets chances too, though I realise their defensive line doesn't make it easy. I don't get how we're so shocking at free kicks and corners, you'd think we never practice them.

Jobe and Rigg have been working hard. Not Rigg's best game but he's still getting involved - as is Watson. I think it's reasonable to expect more from Roberts - 09 obviously realised the only way we're getting crosses into the box is if he goes on the overlap.

What is the point of Roberts?

Anytime he’s looked the player he can be it’s when he has someone playing off him or overlapping. Was effective the first season back up here with Diallo as a foil and always has more space to do something last year and this season when Hume has pushed up on his side. Hume wasted at LB tonight. I’m not saying Roberts will suddenly turn into Maradona in the second half if Hume moves to RB but we might see him with more space and then hopefully some better options for him to put a ball through
