Jack Clarke

Hes playing weekly at Ipswich. Granted hes not starting but hes playing games and he will get plenty more game time over this festive period when the games come thick and fast. Hes been at Ipswich 3/4 month hes perfectly fine in his development. Trai Hume barely played a single game for Sunderland for his first 12 months. Impossible to judge Clarke’s move till the season is done

I just found his comments on social media very unseemly and disrespectful. I think his daughter is dating Tom Watson so no doubt he will be agitating for him to go elsewhere soon.
I mean he isn’t Watsons agent for about the 100th time so much so that Watson changed agency last week and still didn’t go to who Harte works for.

Only time I’d seen Ipswich this season prior to today was when they played Villa and he had a really good game that day. Seems a bit odd from the outside looking in that he hasn’t had more chances from the start but McKenna obviously knows what he’s doing.

Take notice. Our best player struggling to make a dent for a lower prem club.

The gap between leagues is huge.
I wouldn't take that from things here. This is Ipswich we are talking about. Only just promoted. Not an established PL team.
More an issue is likely he just doesn't fit into their style of play despite easily being lower half of the premiership quality

He's a one-trick pony.

Very easily sussed out by an out of form Trippier.

Needs to work on his left foot, hitting the byline and crossing with pace.

Then and only then will he be a top class winger.

He would have played at least forty games and helped safc to promotion

LIKE
And he will probably play 30 plus for Ipswich at a higher level while earning 3 times as much. There’s also no guarantee we get promoted and if we do we probably have a season like Ipswich. They might still stay up, if they come down he will be playing right at the top of the championship I would guess. I can’t see any professional downside to his move

To be fair I always had concerns if we went up about how effective he would be. Some games against decent fullbacks he genuinely looked lost.. so in the PL that’s basically most of them. But he’s a very talented lad so given a good crack at it I’d back him to do it

Ipswich fans are probably unimpressed so far. He’s being played out of position and they got him for peanuts,
Good luck to ya Jack.
