Sam Fender

When he first started I quite liked some of his songs. Hypersonic missles and seventeen are decent enough toe tappers if a little disingenuous.

I hardly imagine him running away from the “bizzies on the beach”

He’s exactly the type to run away tbf.

The overegging his NUFC credentials is OTT I agree but I think he does have talent and if you watch him at any other gig apart from any return to SJP it’ll be barely mentioned.

I’ve heard this elsewhere. I don’t get the Springsteen comparison at all.
.
.
Anyway he’s only preparing for his pension. In 20 years he’ll be playing an annual Christmas gig at the City Hall
Why will he he's doing very well

The first time I saw the video for Howden Aldi Death Queue I nearly fell out of my chair, it was filmed at a shop a few doors from where I used to live.

Very funny and summed up the whole COVID lunacy times.

It's North Shields man.
So are you saying someone who supports Sunderland from Seaham is plastic?
No, not at all.

I’m on about the whole geordie charade he does. Like people have said his gigs are like a home game with ‘wor flags’ and coming out to Local Hero. And to top it off he isn’t even from the city in question, it’s pathetic

Again he's from North Shields 😂😂

Have a go at him for his cringe scum jamboree but North Shields is as mag as anywhere further west.

New single out.

If you've heard anything he's done in the last two years, you've already heard it. What was good about him was the variation in material, but that's gone by the looks of it. Mid tempo plod, sounds a bit like Local Hero, build to crescendo, saxophone bit.

He’s an edgier version of Ed Sheeran.

He’s played a blinder with the Geordie craic, I don’t think he even mentioned the mags once till the Saudis rolled up.
That’s a cracking assessment.
Can't think of any artist who has pushed a football team agenda as much as him. And it doesn't seem to just happen at his Newcastle gigs.

I suppose you could argue Oasis to an extent, but i don't think they ever created an environment where rival fans would feel uncomfortable going to one of their gigs.
I remember Liam asking us to boo man united at knebworth- coz they’d beaten the mags 4 or 5 nil in the charity shield that afternoon.

Did I fuck boo. But most of the 125,000 did 😀

He’s a plastic mag twat.

But I’m all here for this, make everything he does going forward a The War on Drugs homage.
