Busy weekend ahead: 5 hours of Free tributes tomorrow night in Cullercoats, Oxide Ghosts (Brass Eye film/Q & A) at the Stand and then leg it over to Seaburn for the music quiz at Oceans tomorrow and then King Creosote at the FS on Monday.

Shout out to Benefits ( band )
They're slowly building a healthy following for quite an acquired taste
Anyhow they do quite a lot of socials and quizzed everyone about what's stopping people coming to shows or what's important to them
Plenty replies and ideas
So this tour is low ticket price £ 12 for 2 bands .Finished by 10pm ,people can get home, and pre advertised stage times .
Good on them

They are absolutely outstanding. You really need to check them out. When I saw them a couple of years ago I`d say it was one of the very best arena productions I`d ever seen all back up with great songs.

I like Robert Jon and the Wreck a lot and would have gone to that but it would have been my wife`s birthday so I`m just spending the day with my kids.

Havent Within Temptation just been announced for Download next year? They`re in Leeds on friday but ive missed it, unfortunately got to work

Not how I’d want every gig, but Fontaines DC 6pm kick off was a treat. Back in bed ready for work the next day by 9

Aye unless you're right out ,selling 12 quid tickets to minwage wallas will never get you a swimming pool .

You need the $ 6000 weekend gigs in cancun like Tool are doing next year .

These cruise festivals seem canny. People like Flogging Molly are doing them.

I’m guessing the outlay of hiring a cruiseliner might eat into the profits like.

Aye ,to be fair it's a great line up and it's 5 star all inclusive .
Former King crimson members do a sort of band camp thing . Forest location , performances and musician workshops , Mass jams etc then they all eat and drink around camp fires and stuff
It's always America based though
 
Jack White is set to release UK tour dates but he’ll probably bypass NE and so London won’t be?

Gutted I missed Pixies tickets for City Hall - where’s the best place to pick up resale closer to the time?
