That second half

Clearly RLB doesn't trust our bench options, we look tired, using the likes of Ba, Aouchiche, Aleksic or Bennette to add energy has to be better than going 5 at the back when losing momentum.

Side note, Connolly is shite! leave Isidor upfront or use Mayenda.
 

Very frustrating, but the first half was excellent. We're a young team and need experience in January, but we've played poorly this week and still didn't lose any of those 3 games and go into the international break top. Lots to improve on and a great position to do it from.
 
We were cruising and should have had another 2 at least

Then Dan Neil and Browne gifted them a goal and we shit ourselves on the pitch

Then Browne got injured and RLB shit himsel

Bed wetting all over the place that last half hour
 
I think people forget we always let opposition have the ball in front of us even when winning.
They went for it in 2nd half as they had to, risk worked luckily for them as we broke 3 times but each time messed it up. Take one of them and it's 3-1 and a win.
Had to take one of those chances really.
 
Frustrating as we wouldn’t have even needed to perform brilliantly second half to win today….a competent display with a bit of organisation and intent and we would have strolled it but they couldn’t manage that for some reason

Being serious who still expects this squad to be going at it with the energy and pace it was early season? It's just not possible.

It's largely the same squad as last season. One or two have improved, one or two are fit, we've lost our best player, who would still be our best player despite some of the nonsense being posted on here this season about him and we've added a couple of options up top - one of whom looks really good.

In reality we've not supplemented the squad enough to last the distance in the manner we started the season and if anyone thinks that's down to the likes of Dodds and not the make up and quality of the squad they're fools.

There's always going to be an up and down to it and a running out of steam as we've just not got the depth of experience and quality and we're extremely reliant on some young players, not to mention several of our decent options being injury prone.
 
I think the thing lots at the game maybe didn’t realise was the first goal came from really clumbsy feet by both Neil and Browne. Until then Coventry hadn’t had a clear cut chance. As soon as we were putting square pegs in round holes after the injury the equaliser was inevitable
 
Some poor decision making on the pitch, one or two iffy decisions off it. Squad looked a bit short, and one or two looked in need of rest.

Shoulda been outta sight.

Yes we’re top of the league, been playing well etc etc but there’s no excuse for throwing a 2 goal lead away. Roberts, Neil, Connolly, Cirkin were absolutely awful second half.
 
Reg has to take blame the last couple of weeks. Putting Isidor on the wing again after we saw how bad that was last week. It makes no sense to put your best goal threat out of the way of the bloody goal. Should have just put Mayenda wide.

Neil is not good enough in the most important position on the pitch. We need someone who can pull the strings, set the pace, intercept in that position. He can't handle it when the game gets tough and starts making mistakes.

The lack of depth problem needs solving in Jan, the bench is considerably weaker than the starting 11, this will become very noticeable with all the players we have out now. Rough weeks ahead.

We were very comfortable until Browne’s tackle played in Wright, then had loads of chances to win it.
