I went to see them a couple of years ago, about this time I think. It was a bit flat, even on a Friday night.
Loved them when I was younger but it was somehow the first time I’d saw them & it was a bit of a disappointment.
Sounds like there’s be a load of SMBers there in thursday like. Think there’s 8 of us going.

Bear Park - really liked them and would see them again. Wholesome band playing decent music.
Libertines were fantastic. I was at the front in the mosh pit and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Interpol were brilliant last night. Think it was the 4th time I've seen them and that was the best. Mind, Antics is my fav album of theirs so that helped. Mental that they got 15 songs in before playing anything off their debut. My lass wasn't happy about how long it went on for 
she's usually in bed by 9pm and 4 months pregnant like so when they come out again for the encore she wasn't best pleased. I was!
The sound was really good I thought but I had seats on the balcony, right next to the stage coz usually I think the sound in the City Hall is poor.

Yeah, we were treat to something special last night at the Interpol gig. You could tell the band were loving it as well. That performance of Lights was just phenomenal.

Dont know how many times I've seen Interpol going back to the NME tour they were on at Northumbria Uni, but I enjoyed this one as much if not more than any other show. For me they're always a lot better live than on record.
