Pakistan v England 3rd Test

Pope should be playing for his test career.
Was on TMS yesterday that out of 49 test batters to have scored 3+ 100's in a year, Pope has the lowest average of 33 for the year

We are shit on the sun continent but it wasn't always like that.

Are the Asian teams so much better than 40+ years back or have we just turned to shite when it comes to playing spin.
We've never been too clever, in the main, over there against spin since I've watched the sport.

More the latter, this is one of the worst Pakistan teams in living memory - let’s not forget they lost 2-0 to Bangladesh 6 weeks ago and prior to last week hadn’t won a home Test in over 10 attempts.
That has to be the end for Pope, hopeless

You know it won’t be.

Which is why they went about the pitches the way they have.

That 2012 England Team, had Cook, KP, Bell, Root and Prior - all good players of spin.

Our last tour here was played on roads.

Only Root for me is a good player of spin.

Bye bye Pope
