Sure he could fuck it up but he seems to have a great support network so suspect he won't.

Way I see it is, he's clear-and-obviously better at 17 than Hendo was at 20. And Hendo won everything there is to win as Captain, literally everything except the WC. Sky is the limit, injury and bad decisions aside.

Hendo was no where near as technically gifted as Rigg and Rigg plays far more further forward.
You should be comparing Neil to Hendo IMO.

Young Hendo was being played like Rigg iirc, but was less clear where Hendo fit in, often on the side. Don't think he ever sat back and dictated for us but it's long ago now.
I love Neil but tbf he's not in the same bracket
