Le Bris the yes man

The next interesting inflection point is the January transfer window

How big or little will Bris have
He'll have a lot of influence as I do think he's earned the trust of KLD and Speakman. Money will always be a barrier, but the recent signings of Mepham, Browne & Isisdor prove you don't have to spend big to land quality players. I've got a lot of faith in the board now, we're a much stronger team than last season and keep getting better.

I doubt this tbh. I'm sure they will listen to him- and he'll likely be able to state his preferences and ideas based on a range of targets that we've identified, which is how it was with Mowbray and Neill. We are very strict with our model of signings- which is likely one of the reasons we found it so difficult to get a manager to agree to come here in the first place. After being proved right (though it took returning to an earlier version of the model which included more senior players)- I can't imagine they will want to change now.

I think he probably also has a Dack type signing allowance (i.e. a player on a free or thereabouts who the manager knows and wants to bring)- which doesn't seem to have been used up. So we might see someone arrive from the French league in January.

Sometimes they learn from mistakes, it can only get better each season. We need to be patience. Brighton have signed £16m a player as a Premier League club that show that they dont need to sign expensive players. I think KLD are looking into it and have plans ahead whether we dont go up or not. Just be patience.

I think that player might have been Isador, based on RLB’s comments about coming from the same part of France and having tried to sign him for Lorient before.

Samed anorl was widely reported to have arrived due to Le Bris being interested in him whilst he was at Lorient. Although to be fair, a signing like him on paper likely would/should have been attempted whether or not Regis was here.

Getting interviewed in northern echo saying happy to go forward with current coaching staff if club can’t find the right candidates. I bet speakman and KLD love him already. How hard can it be to find a no 2 or coach. Load of absolute bullshit. I’m sure I read somewhere else over the weekend he didn’t want to talk about strikers either. Just what Speakman and KLD wanted someone who wouldn’t speak out against the model. Let the relegation battle commence.
