Went to a few of them few years ago. XYLO brewery had some good beers and the added bonus of being able to bring in some chips from the chippy just down the road. Some good places there

Probably because most people think Oktoberfest is held through October? It does seem strangely late though, even still.

I'll be picking a box up if they have them at my local. They've got the radler back as well which is really good, I picked a load of them up last time around. I pretty much never drink in the house like so they'll end up sat in the cupboard for months! Still can't resist.

Same here got quite a bit in the house which ill never drink. still haven't drank the Octoberfest ones from aldi.

Two new’uns for me. The Starbust was canny, but nowt to rush back to.

At a do tonight at Rainton Meadows. Sure last year the nearest thing they had to decent beer was Neck Oil

The Magic Eye is loads better. Beer isn’t all about abv & I’ve had some terrible high abv beer, but by jumping from 5.2% to 6.2% it just feels like there’s more going on on the tastebuds.

One of my favoute places in the whole world. My wife's family are from Sheffield. Whenever we pop down I'm practically camped at SMOD all weekend. Love it.
