Decider in what has been an enthralling and rather emotive series. This suggests another absolutely bunsen is wanted. Wonder how we approach this one in terms of team line up? Toss might be a biggie, although it's being suggested it'll be tougher to manipulate the pitch at this venue.

Been a cracking series so far.....

Some interesting choices for England in the bowling mainly. Surely there’s no way Woakes plays and I don’t think we’ll go in with three spinners so two from Potts, Atkinson and Carse. If they feel Carse is able to play three on the trot he will play and I think Potts has been more impressive than Atkinson in these conditions, but Atkinson is first choice so I reckon he’ll come in.

Batsmen will stay the same, I’d be amazed if Rehan plays but if he does we’ll probably just play Carse as the only seamer with Stokes chipping in every so often.

Jamie Smith is missing due to the birth of his child. Jordan Cox is replacing him.

Thought that was for New Zealand

McCullum says Rehan might play it depends on the wicket and if it's a spinning one

Think people need to get over the last pitch a bit

It still produced 255 runs an innings, this wasn’t the Ahmedabad pitch
Suppose it was like two pitches in one. The latter half played very differently. And wouldn't have had as extreme it been a fresh one. Also throw in very poor fielding that allowed scores to be bigger.

Saying all that I didn't pile in saying it was unfair, cheating etc.

Most pitches do.

Defining a good pitch is hard. The first test pitch was not a good pitch, only some remarkable batting got a result. 99/100 times that would be a boring draw
Not like that. The commentators made particular reference to it. It's usually gradual but as it was a second test pitch it just went almost with a snap of the fingers.

Absolutely agree on your second point. The first pitch was the death of test cricket on here. Until we won on it.

Wonder who snapped their fingers to make it happen?

It’s like a special power that Mowsy lad.

Rumours are it’s going to be another flat one.
Unlikely they will be able to produce another turner in such a short time. I'd imagine it will be similar to the 1st 5 days on Multan pitch.

Team will be:

Crawley, Ducket, Poop, Root, Brook, Stokes (c), Smith (w), Atkinson, Potts, Bashir, Leach

Few of the pundits last week remarked that Rawalpindi wasn’t known for turning, so the groundstaff might struggle to get something that rages. They also won’t have the benefit of there being a Test match there in the week prior to this one

No doubt Pakistan will find a way to get turn out of the wicket. I wonder who will miss out in this test. I can't see Woakes and Atkinson being left out again.
