Milan Aleksic - Confirmed

I already answered similar questions multiple times, but happy to answer it again. I think physically and techincally he's ready for the Championship. What he, however, needs time with is the pace of the league and I hope Sunderland fans are patient with him because of this. Players who are much more experienced and who come from better leagues than Serbian league, e.g. the Italian league or the Dutch league often struggle at first with the pace of English football. Serbian league is much slower than PL and significantly slower than Championship as well. Once he adapts to the pace of the league, I'm sure he'll be a success. But it's hard to tell whether it will take him 5-10 minutes or 5-10 months. I hope he'll adapt very quickly and be a real asset for you this season and hopefully you can get promoted.

Sounds promising, let's hope he has the right attitude as we have many skilful players, both young and old but with the wrong attitude.

From what Murty was saying his English isnt great yet either which might delay his general integration both to team and tactics. Didnt help Jewi or Naz unfortunately.
Kid needs time to get his phone sorted , learn the bus timetables etc 😉.

Has he had the played in front of 40,000 crowds in Serbia? I guess not, and that will be another element he needs to get used to as well.
He hasn't but I don't think that will be a problem. While the attendance numbers are lower, hooliganism is still quite prevalent in Serbia and I'd say the atmosphere is more hostile in a lot of Serbian league games than it is in Championhship games. Even at a club like Radnički.

I don't thint Balkan players are that easily intimidated by the atmosphere in English stadiums. Sunderland might be louder than many other English fans and Balkan player can only thrive in that circumstances.
It was his first year as a professional and he had to be a leader of his team in 4 or 5 of the biggest games in club history.

He was Radnicki's best player in Conference league tie.

What’s quality about that like it’s an aimless punt he didn’t even know Watson was there 😂😂😂
He’s aiming for Ogunsuyi imo

I agree that Serbian football has great atmospheres but I do think @Old Timer makes a good point. Somebody like Jobe or Rigg will hope to play top level football for most of their career. There are few better places to get used to expectation that comes with that than us currently. Second tier but large crowds and high expectations
