Back in the day it was a common feeling throughout the local leagues about the age of the overseas professionals . One respected club official even suggested tongue in cheek that they must get registered at 16 yrs old . Personally I couldn’t agree that the lad on the Freddie Flintoff programme was only 16 yrs old . Apparently he’s now playing for the Lancashire junior set up

If his date of birth is true then apparently he also scored a half century against England U-19s when he was 12 years old.

According to cricinfo he was playing for the U19's against England last year at 12yo. He must have got his birth certificate from the same place as Kanu and Obafemi Martins.

Agree he looks about 30, but then how do you ever prove it for a lad that comes illegally claiming asylum with no records
