Birmingham's owners must be completely clueless if they think they can get Rigg. Even if they bid £50m he probably wouldn't go there.

Or Nixon is just making it up.

It's a different level, but all it would do is prompt the eventual suitor to step in earlier, like Man Utd had to when the barcodes bid for Rooney knowing fine well it would never materialise.
 
Seriously though if Birmingham are interested, then they need to be looking at Archie Gray as a bench mark to start their bidding. By my reckoning that's 54 million of their Yankee dollars. Put it on the table and we can start a discussion.

I think that would a new league 1 record.

We're going to lose him in the summer unless we go up, but it'll be to a champions league team, not f***ing birmingham. Ha ha even though, they now seem to think they're some kind of footballing powerhouse.
 
I dont get why the Birmingham fans are so desperate to rim their owners. They get relegated purely down to the owners incompetence.

Seem like it all because they're desperate to be relevant compared to villa and m they've splashed a few quid and got a few celebs down St Andrews hell hole.
