Milan Aleksic - Confirmed

No Aleksić in the newest Serbian squad. Him not playing at all so far at Sunderland probably a part of the reason for this.
He’s young so maybe he was brought in to get a feel for the set up rather than to play.. might be in and out until he’s established but you’re right that he needs games at Sunderland to progress

Our head coach is stupid for not putting Aleksić as the fifth sub now. He put Jovanović in who is a striker instead of Birmančević who played as a wingback. We now have three strikers and centrebacks, one winger, one wingback and two dm's. That makes no sense whatsoever.
Is he a good player then mate, and robust enough for our league yet?

I already answered similar questions multiple times, but happy to answer it again. I think physically and techincally he's ready for the Championship. What he, however, needs time with is the pace of the league and I hope Sunderland fans are patient with him because of this. Players who are much more experienced and who come from better leagues than Serbian league, e.g. the Italian league or the Dutch league often struggle at first with the pace of English football. Serbian league is much slower than PL and significantly slower than Championship as well. Once he adapts to the pace of the league, I'm sure he'll be a success. But it's hard to tell whether it will take him 5-10 minutes or 5-10 months. I hope he'll adapt very quickly and be a real asset for you this season and hopefully you can get promoted.

Has he had the played in front of 40,000 crowds in Serbia? I guess not, and that will be another element he needs to get used to as well.
