CC : Surrey v Durham

IIRC Colin Dredge played for Somerset in the era of Viv, Garner and Botham
I’m hoping @The Red Telephone is holding a masterclasss in The Relton over the winter 🤔 Subjects could include County Championship 1960- 1999 , Durham the Minor County from 1960-1992 and CLS CC ,the DSL days . He’s also well briefed with the John Player League on BBC2 on a Sunday afternoon 👍
The gypsies, the travellers and the thieves.
The good, the bad, the average and the unique.
The grebos, the crusties and you and I .
Hello, good evening, welcome and goodbye.
The only living Surrey fan in New Cross .

Taking the piss aren’t you? We’ve had two years of growth and improvement with a young squad. You’re like the Sir Alex Ferguson of the Cricket Forum! I might ask the mods to change your username to Fergus Alexson.
Consider me Shankly handing over to a Bob Paisley *

* That doesn't mean to say my successor has to have a Hetton connection mind.

First talk at The Rum Pot as the Relton is known these days could be:

'The Day I Saw Ken Flynn Actually Hit A Boundary For Chester Le Street And Then Bought Two Savoury Meat Squares And A Huge Piece Of Homemade Apple Pie From The Tea Hut To Celebrate And All For 12p'

Hopefully not mate as it might mean me and Carty on the naughty steps at the bottom of Penshaw Monument. One of the side effects could see Kier Starmer getting hospitality tickets on Students Night in the Trapdoor Stand .I’m more than willing to bring my John Cooper Clark degree to the table but is it what the public want .Pretty apt so soon after a London game

What a deal that was.
There weren't any facts to be factually correct about
I’m the resident arsehole on here so watch yourself

What about seeing Robbie Harrison after his haircut or I touched Steve Greensword’s cricket jumper

Heard from a reliable source that Borthwick has another year to go on his contract but will likely be playing a lot of 2nd XI cricket.
Yeah that's definitely the case. Same with Clark.

Imagine both will being playing a fair amount of Second XI when the CC is on.

Would like to think we still see Clark for the Blast.

Yeah looks more than likely he will probably do the old fashioned senior pro captaining/mentoring the rookies in the 2nds.
Yeah Clarky has another year. Important time for him.
I think he needs to get back and concentrate on t20. Also surely his agent can find him a gig in one of these minor overseas t20 or t10 tournaments.
