He showed woeful technique for that header. Made zero attempt to get over the ball and basically nodded it straight down the middle of the goal. Patterson would have saved it had it been a bit lower.

He should have jumped and headed it towards the bottom corner. Thankfully he was too shit to do that.

In fairness both of them could have had a goal each in the 1st half. Conway definitely should have scored from a header early on in the game and Lath had that chance just before half-time, although it was probably more of a half-chance in comparison to Conways.

If you look at the stats we are creating chances and having shots on goal. Vs Preston we had 16 shots to their 5.

things'd've been different if conway had kept his early header a centimeter or two lower there imo but it wasn't. fine margins but I'll take the three mate

I think Regis thought the same, but never forget, they were the better team, Carrick must have attended coaching classes with Brenda Rogers

They are crying out for forward passers of the ball and a big strong striker in my humble -a lot of sideway stuff and we allowed their Centre back -Clarke ?to have a load of the ball and we were pretty comfortable
