From looking at the 2nd photo on there it looks like a line projected through the centreline of the bridge would pass through the centre spot of the pitch. Is that intentional?

Would have been some forward planning to get the Workers of the Wear tribute and keep line aligned with the centre spot.

All the lights and power have been on a while
Have they? Bloody he'll, I think with all the stuff going on with the bridge, I have missed it. Is all the scaffolding off both buildings?

No but the times I've been round over the last few weeks for a walkabout the lights were on...the whole development is in the last few months of completion...pretty sure it's gonna be nearly a year past original completion date
It's a shame how slow the development is going on the actual vaux site. These buildings and the housing

Just checked the Riverside Masterplan and Maker and Faber are down for completion in 2024, unfortunately due to Tolent going under and there being no replacement in place for the Vaux Housing god knows when that will start up again.
