CC : Surrey v Durham

Robinson not been the same since going to play in the hundred. Was it a similar time that he'll have been overlooked for the test team with Smith called up?

Exactly, vital for the club and for local people to see international cricket

I font get the mindset of some people

It may be vital for the club, but I don’t know many ‘local people’ who will be happy to pay the prices they’re asking. Maybe I’m just behind the times 🤷‍♂️
We're not gonna win so let's declare now and do them out of two bowling points.

There are rules against that.
agree which is why I'd go all out to get Wagner back for next season

Or Boland, for me. Would be interested to see if the club/player would like to sort out their unfinished business - same of course also applies to Wagner.
Soon find out how the wicket is playing when we bowl probably some time after tea

It’s done plenty through the air for pretty much all their bowlers, which only amplifies our lack of Raine and Potts IMO. They’d have loved to bowl under these conditions.

Looking around the counties though, it’s clear the Duke’s ball is back. Been watching a bit of Lancashire v Somerset, Glamorgan v Yorkshire and Derbyshire v Middlesex and at all of those grounds the ball has been doing quite a bit. Especially late.

Unless you are a Kent bowler. Overstepping 22 times so far they may as well be better chucking lumps of coal

Yeah it was.

Must be hard after doing as well as anyone possibly could to get an England callup.

Scoring an unbeaten 170 odd in front of the England captain to boot.

But it's a fair decision as they clearly already had Smith in mind well before the season even started.
