How’s he fucked him over career wise? He’ll do well for them in the championship next season. Harte well and truly fucked him over career wise, done well for his bank balance but set him back just like his love to spurs, wrong choice.

To be fair no one knows this yet. He could be a starter for them soon and then stay in the first team. If he'd gone to a more established premier league club he'd never have been a first team starter in his first season. He is probably at the right club if he wants to be in the premier league and also play in the first team. If he does well for them he is likely to get a move to a better premier league team if they go down. He’ll do well for them in the championship next season. They may well go down, but defeats against city and Liverpool are pretty much a given for the bottom clubs (I know Forest won at the weekend)Why do you keep referring to the Championship?
You weren't a match for Liverpool. They had over 62% possession, twice the shots you had, twice as many on target, twice as many corners. You were a long way 2nd best.
You're heading for relegation IMO. Sides need to start well to have any chance of staying up. You haven't done that. Bye.
I think it depends on what he wants out of a "career", if we're talking in the strictest sense of the term, he's been great for his career. How’s he fucked him over career wise?
People saying Ipswich are going to come back down are probably the same people that think we’d take the league by storm if we went upIt's canny funny this thread mind. In parts.
Haven't seen that posted by anyone like, us taking the league by storm?People saying Ipswich are going to come back down are probably the same people that think we’d take the league by storm if we went up
I thought the same at first but there's every chance he impresses at Ipswich and then a more established club comes in for him. At the minute it's Ipswich taking the risk he can cut it at that level. If he shows he can the risk is removed for other clubs and Ipswich can easily double their money.Ipswich seemed a strange move for him imo. I thought he'd have moved to someone like a brentford who were already a few years into their premier league journey with less risk of relegation. If that offer wasn't on the table then surely he'd have been better off waiting til January or the following summer. The fee would be less and there'd probably be more offers.
The Ipswich move comes with a high chance he'll be back in the championship again next season. It's well know how much he loves living and playing up here, was Ipswich really worth giving that up for (money aside). Don't begrudge him a crack at the premier league, he's earned it. But he deserved a better move than that imo and it surely came down to Harte not wanting to wait for his payday
Awful move in my opinion, and one the lad may well rue.Ipswich seemed a strange move for him imo. I wouldn't even class Forest as a bottom club now, they'll be absolute nowhere near relegation this season imo. They may well go down, but defeats against city and Liverpool are pretty much a given for the bottom clubs (I know Forest won at the weekend)
Were Fulham in league one when he played against them like?Good luck to the lad, it's a short career BUT the one time he played against a PL full back with us he didn't get a sniff
Source ? Other than this board !Apparently Clarke regrets moving.
