Jack Clarke

Unfortunately he isn't much. He's mostly a bench warmer for a poor Ipswich side. I'm sure he'll get his chance and then we'll see if he can cut it at that level with that club.

Early days but you can't knock Mundle. Excellent performances and more goals than Clarke would have scored. 3 in 3 games is better than Clarke ever achieved here.

Clarke had some of the best stats in the entire league last season, hopefully Mundle can emulate that first.

This, fully agree.

You don’t know Kieran McKenna and how Ipswich work. If there was the slightest issue with any player and that includes young Clarke then he wouldn’t be near the squad until it was sorted.

You can dismiss that with “I’d believe his family first” but I can assure you the talk of him being unsettled is not true.

It does take time to fully settle of course but he’s coming along fine. I don’t understand why one or two would like this to be untrue. He’s a kid making a career for himself.
Alreet Kieran?

I think you’re arguing against a point the poster isn’t making.

Everything you’re saying can be true - such as your conversation with Clarke and Ipswich/McKenna’s style - as can the fact Clarke had a moment with Davis and might have said to his family/girlfriend he’s not settled yet, but there’s plenty of time

Can we please stop pretending Clarke wasn’t as good as he was, if he played at the weekend we’d have won that game. He regularly had defenders absolutely terrified.
Total guesswork.

Mundle was easily out MotM. He scored and crossed the ball into the box a number of times. We should have gotten on the the end of a least one of them.

With Clarke in the side instead of Mundle we may have won, drew or lost, simple as that.

No, but I do know Jack, Em and the family so ill trust that all the same.

Jack came on for 30 mins today and did very well. Not far off becoming a starter.
Hope he does well for you mate, never know with players making the step up but he was too good for the Championship. I think he has a good chance

He had a slow start for us in League One although he hadn't played much for ages at the time, he has come on loads since we got promoted. Wish we got more for him but seems as if you lot had no real competition for his signature

Anyone saying he wasn't that good for us, wasn't the best wide player at the club, isn't as good as Mundle etc is very wrong

Two lads behind me on Saturday spent most of the second half saying "get Mundle off, he's being bullied here.." right up until he banged in the equaliser.
Horseshit.
How is it horseshit? He was our best player for more than an entire season, by some margin anarl, hence the £20m move to a Premier League side, and hence the 392 page thread on here.

I don't recall that but that's not to say that isn't true?

Bottom line is Mundle has 3 goals in 3 starts when previously he's barely started a game for us.

Clarke made a good start to the season, 1 goal and 1 assist in 2 games. Nee Mundle stats though.
Youre one of them that believes all of our players are better than everybody else’s just because they play for us aren’t you?

Clarke was outstanding for us, but Mundle was by far our best player and scored, so I’m not sure how you’ve come to that conclusion.
