Patto

He’ll know he was poor today, as will a few others. We were really poor today and it happens, no dramas let’s see how they react to the first little setback.

This place never fails. Literally every player in our current starting 11 has a handful of detractors that stay schtum until said player has a bad game and then it's a free-for-all of "he's shite", "never a Prem player", "bang average", etc.

That is untrue. If anything the forum blows up if a player has a great game suggesting he’s a 50 million pound player.
Jack Clarke was a perfect example. People kicking off when he went for 30 million less than their valuation and he can’t get in a really poor prem team.

This is a discussion board that survives and is one of the best around on opinions.
Fans are allowed to criticise a player when they play poorly and yesterday, Patterson, Neil. Hume, Ballard deserved this entirely.

You missed my point.

It's okay to have opinions. Totally fair game to say Player X has had a shite game. But to say the player IS shite. Or will never come good. Or is overrated, etc. That's the problem I have. Few on here find themselves able to refrain from hyperbole, black/white thinking, and ad hominem attacks. It's tiresome and unproductive and makes the forum worse IMO.

It could be argued that none will reach their potential in the championship which would be true.

Do you think that posters who over compliment and get carried away fall into the same bracket?

He's very good in certain areas but 3 years or whatever it is in, he still hasn't erased his weaknesses.

Rooted to his line far too much and his distribution is crap
This above is the problem and it's been clear for the past year and more. He hasn't eradicated the erratic kicking or the taking charge of his area.

Was in the washy keys tonight with Moore

Did he drop his pint?
They certainly don't bother me as much, no. Because supporters should support. IMO.

Do you support Bellingham now?

Did you support Beale when he was the manager? Asking for a friend?

Never known a keeper to palm to their striker so often, did it countless times last year. Like fuck do Liverpool want him.
Couldn't agree more. Cost us a lot of goals last season with his constant parrying. Whoever coaches him to parry the ball out instead of pushing it out of danger should be strung up. I know he's a local lad, and I will probably get pelters for saying so, but he needs to up his game considerably or were going to concede more needless goals.

Do we have a keeper coach these days?
