To be fair when they were off for bad light/rain at the oval there wasn't a cloud in the sky. Would have been fine the last few days and the next few days too looking at the forecast.

Aye I had tickets for the Saturday (can’t remember if day 3 or 4) and once I saw the forecast I didn’t even bother travelling. Knew I’d not see a ball bowled.

Same mate I’ve still got the hotel booked as I’ll lose money if i cancel it! It was for the Saturday, bought tickets for the Sunday too but that was completely abandoned.

Thankfully got 50% refund back for the Saturday and 100% back for the Sunday.

Never again though, hopefully I’ll be able to get tickets for Headingley or edgbaston for India.

I see our last ODI is 29th September.

It won't be long before we play home internationals at Halloween.

The full international season is required to fund the whole game though. Cut the revenue and the recreational game will suffer.

I’ve no doubt someone will reply about the 16.4 but it’s a separate issue.
