Looks permanently confused

I’ve been confused for 18 months why he’s not been replaced in the team.

He is the opposite of what a top goalie should be - strong, calm, assured.

I said this a year ago and it continues to be true today

Hides on his goal line and ducks all physicality or commanding his area. Teams target him as hes such a wallflower

He managed to just about get away with being terrified of balls in to the box and putting the wind up his own defenders by not taking charge last season

But now it’s all coming home to roost.

That second goal yesterday was like an outfielder was in goal - cowardly. Par for the course with AP

He’s a half decent shot stopped but the first goal yesterday and the one at Huddersfield joined a string of bread and butter saves pushed straight out in to the danger area

Someone will be along soon to compare him to our worst ever set of goalkeepers (Steele, Camp etc) but it’s not good enough

His kicking started out poor and has got worse over time

He’s crap and I’m sick of him.

Somehow gained a reputation based on half a dozen ok-ish saves and coming in to the first team just as Alex Neil got us motoring in the back end of the League 1 promotion season

He’s saved a shot from the edge of the box, you would hope he would get it wider, you would hope the defenders would react quicker. It’s nowhere near the level of mistake some are making out and he shouldn’t be held accountable for the defeat. Regis tactically, defensive mistakes, carelessness, lack of closing down.
 
He's a very good shot stopper (most of the time). But that's about it. His ability to come and collect has improved but still not great and his distribution is awful most of the time. Barely been tested this season but failed massively today.

💯 looks owa fat anarl. He looked great on account of who he was replacing. I’ve never seen anyone look quite as petrified when a ball is slung into our box. Holds onto his line like it was his Ma’s apron string
 
He's a canny keeper but overrated. Just text me mate who isn't a lover of him the same. Posted for a while that he's too lethargic and needs rocket up his ass.

Canny though, but some comments about 20 million and playing for England on here are crackers.

Keeper had as poor a game as the majority of those ahead of him, yet he’s the one singled out.

He was poor, should be doing so much better with that last goal, and his poor distribution led to the original shot for the OG.

Others were worse than him though.

Yeah I don't think you will find many saying he wasn't poor. In all fairness it was a poor team performance and I'm not a fan of individuals getting singled out unless they have been absolutely diabolical, which I don't think anyone was.

Lots of 5/10s and maybe a couple of 4/10s. Just not at the races in the 2nd half across the board.
