Chris Rigg

They were all in for him already and he decided to stay here for his career , he's got a long way to go yet , he needs to show maturity on and off the field , he's only a bairn , how many young players fail

If he continues to develop and excel while doing so even though he’s not playing top flight football his price will rocket.

As seen by the recent bids and moves made by players of other clubs, the championship is increasingly seen as a good market to shop in by clubs throughout Europe.

I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see someone like Dortmund really test the clubs resolve in January.

Cant wait for him to go for £8m  terrible cuckholds that we always are.

People on here will say it’s a good amount to get too, such do we love arguing / being cucks
£8m to Bayern with a 50% sell on clause and he'll end up playing 700 games for them and we'll get nowt

Boggles my mind why so many people are so concerned about his value, just enjoy his development and his performances while we can
It’s a part of football , it doesn’t mean we want him to leave or can’t enjoy his time here .
I read on an online forum that Neil has one of around £12m
If I was a young potential superstar 😂 I would definitely have one . You can then hedge your bets and sign a decent length contract with your current club knowing that should you fulfill your potential, your club can’t prevent your progress and of course your earning power.

I think Haaland has one. I agree it's sensible. If I was Rigg, I'd absolutely have one.

If I was in Clarke's shoes last year I'd have considered signing a new contract for more money with a release clause that kicks in if we didn't go up

It's better than when they were publicly slagging off his immediate family tbf. Look at it as progress. ;)
Didn't realise people were slagging his family, if they were they are out of order, I don't know them personally just know of them , they've got the lads future at heart , I understand they could have cashed in and didn't, and if anyone thinks I'm talking shite I saw him walk past mine with a packet of sweets just after he got the 5th against Southampton 🤣🤣, just needs to concentrate on his career and the cash will follow , how many kids disappear after a good start

As shown by his performance today some need to calm down on their hype of the young lad, he's got a long way to go yet.

He's good, but the reality of having such youth in midfield and attack lacking in experience will hurt us at times - we can't realistically be expected to do a full season with Neil, Jobe, Rigg, Mundle and Mayenda being mainstays.

Genuinely, what will we end up selling him for. £30m?
Canny guess to be fair. Couple of reports , a bit regurgitated but

think the United link is intriguing because even since he was quite young, when he was 15 it was interesting a scout said to me that Rigg was the ‘nearest thing to Bryan Robson he had ever seen

Then

We are talking £20m-£30m for Chris Rigg. He’d be a first-team signing.”

Gans with my blessing, anyone but the head choppers
