CC : Durham v Lancashire

Struggling to see what Lees is so disgruntled about. That looked very straight and hitting top of the stumps for me

Clearly we saw something different to each other.
Yet he didn't give out Iyer for one that wasn't as high or legside as that.

Mental umpiring

Exactly what I thought 🤷‍♂️
That one looks dead to me. Robinson having some stinking form

Agreed, looked plumb from my seat and yes, unfortunately Robinson has found batting in this Division more of a challenge than in the second tier last year.

Mind, I was surprised they sent him in ahead of Ackermann…
How on earth can an umpire be 100% sure taking that long??

I’ve explained my feelings already, but when you consider the time Gough gave himself to be sure over Robinson’s (which I thought looked plumb) compared to Lloyds’ triggering to a ball which was high and leggy - it raised my eyebrows atleast.

Fully agree. Some Durham tinted spectacles need taken off on here at times

I stand by my comments and my reasoning, which are all displayed over the last page and a half.

I openly admit I’m biased, but nobody can tell me that the Lees dismissal was an immediate raise of the finger when the Iyer appeal yesterday got turned down by the same umpire.
