Excellent stuff mate
On Saturday Calv and Summers from The Voyd are playing at The Blue Bell at 8pm. Was sold out last time so I am going to pop in for a ticket (£10) before then. Patrick Gosling/Ice Road Trucker for me on Friday
Hmmm. Doing the GNR on Sunday. Brit Pack at the Wheatsheaf might be a nice way to finish it. Problem is I’m at a gig on the night & drinking 6hrs before isn’t sensible

Love the Voyd unfortunately I can't make Saturday have they done many acoustic gigs?
The only one I heard of was the last time at the Blue Bell and I missed that due to an away game.

That's very good of you to say.
I'm looking to move away from doing the weekend listings and just doing the Monday - Thursday ones.
Ideally I'd like another 2/3 posters to contribute as @Longy and @Iguana have been brilliant but its not fair on them to post the weekend gigs all the time.
@Iguana has a template which I'm sure he'll let you have.

I’ll help out, but couldn’t commit to a regular slot. As an example, work today, swimming with the bairns after, daughters football match tomorrow, GNR Sunday, gig Sunday night.
When I get a chance I’ll chip in though, 100%

I no longer work so I'm fine with weekend listings. It makes me feel I'm playing a small part into the growing music scene in Sunderland. But @Longy doing it sometimes would be good, and anyone else who wants to join in.
The Google Doc I use can be shared so the work to update the listing can be done by more than one person - and the final listings copied and pasted into the thread on Thursday for the weekend. I suspect it is easier for one person at a time to do it and for you to assign that person.

On Friday Patrick Gosling was great. If you know his music you know he's a fine songwriter and performer, but may not know that with his band (fresh back from a tour in Germany) he can also really rock. Ice Road Trucker were also very fine. The Void on Saturday weren't really acoustic but just two electric guitars. The audience was a very different crowd from the ones in town. It was good to hear their songs and just down the road for me
Both Patrick and The Void finished with Oasis covers. I guess that's forgivable this once.
